Gade Dog Training Society is a Kennel Club listed, non-profit organisation, fully insured. Our trainers and committee are all volunteers, with varying qualifications in dog training and including BIPDT, IMDT, PDTI, etc., we are regularly attend CPD seminars and courses. Between us we have a wealth of knowledge in dealing with various training issues and workshops. We have plenty of tips and useful advice to help you with your dog.
All dogs are welcomed, of any age and breed. Please contuct us if you want to join with your dog. Our training methods are based on reward, play and lots of fun. We do not condone harsh training methods.

What we offer
Beginners Classes
A block of 9 weeks of 30 minute classes for vaccinated dogs and puppies of any age, it’s never too late. We start with our intake talk to prepare you, then 8 weeks group practical training for every day life skills such as attention to name, loose lead, heel work, waits, stays, recall, retrieve, etc., as well as understanding your dog to prevent future problems.
Advancing Skills
Following on from beginners class, trainers will invite you to graduate to more challenging training skill sets as you become ready. This is not a block booking but a pay as you go system. Classes include Improvers, Intermediates and Advanced
Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme
Gain awards in dog training, assessed and issued by the Kennel Club, in association with Gade Dog Training Society. You can gain Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme certification with us.
Prices and Booking
Beginners Classes cost £50 + £15 annual membership, so that’s £65 total for new starters in 2025
Advancing Skills sessions costs £5 as you go in 2025
Good Citizen tests run throughout the year
We have a new contactless pay system at club, you can also pay by cash or cheque
